COLLABORATION WITH MARY BERGS

A Visual Conversation

Mary Bergs and I found each other on Instagram and noticed a shared affinity for found materials. Thus began a long-distance collaboration. It started with a loose idea of bookish-ness and we initially set off to create left- and right-hand pages that the other could respond to. Soon we noticed that a visual conversation was taking place and we threw off the constaints of ‘book’ and began creating individual pieces based on each other’s recent work.
