today.getDate()

today.getDate(), 2002–2006, was an ongoing project that documented the minutiae of daily life by juxtaposing an image from ‘inside the box’ with one from out in the world. The intention was to record these images on a daily basis, but it wasn’t until 2006 that an entire year was documented.

The last photo documents the printed version of today.getDate() which was installed at The Burchfield-Penney Art Center in Buffalo, NY and includes all days from 2006 arranged in a calendar-like format.
